The purpose of the
PropertyTaxTalk calendar is to help organize important dates and
events. For example, counties within a given state have
different appeal filing deadlines. The calendar can also be used for
other important dates such as when a county or municipality is going to be
conducting a reevaluation, when the appraiser may be scheduled to visit,
or when new rates or ratios are going to be announced. In addition, important
tax meetings (for example, your local government is considering doing a
reevaluation, but needs to measure the cost verses benefit etc., a public
meeting may be scheduled -- this is a good place for such
information!). Basically, if you feel it is important or beneficial,
we urge you to contribute -- remember to include all the important
