First and foremost, we are not a professional tax or real estate service.  We make no promises that the information you find in our forums is accurate, nor do we validate the information in any way.  It is extremely important that the information you find in our forums be verified in all ways.

Use this entire site at your own risk.  The owners, moderators, or other people/entities involved take absolutely NO responsibilities for the accuracy of ANY information.

Second, we're not a place for you to come and direct personal slander.  For example: 

Say you meet with your local tax assessor (informal appeal) to discuss your assessment.  You make your case, and he makes his.  In your heart, you believe you should be rewarded a $10,000 reduction in the improvement portion of your assessment (you feel your physical structure is worth $10,000 less than it is assessed).  The assessor provided recent sales, and other information that shows your home to actually be under assessed, but for various reasons, the assessment is left unchanged.  Needless-to-say, you come home and are extremely agitated.
